Stolen Vehicle Chase In Baltimore Leads to Arrest and Weapon Recovery

BALTIMORE, MD – A 31-year-old male suspect has been arrested following the recovery of a stolen vehicle and a loaded handgun in the Central District. The incident unfolded on the evening of March 24 when Foxtrot Aviation officers spotted the stolen vehicle on Aliceanna at Bond Street.

Central District patrol officers located the vehicle on the 700 block of Bond Street, but as they approached, the suspect fled on foot. After a short pursuit, officers apprehended the suspect on the 800 block of Caroline Street.

A handgun, reported stolen from Georgia and found in the vehicle, led to the suspect’s arrest for possession of a firearm and ammunition, for which he was already prohibited. He is now facing charges at the Central Booking Intake Facility.
