Brick Township Announces Summer and Part-Time Employment Opportunities

BRICK, NJ — With summer on the horizon, Brick Township is calling on motivated and energetic individuals to fill various seasonal and part-time positions. Opportunities include roles as lifeguards, badge checkers, Windward Beach maintenance staff, and Summer Camp Counselors. Applicants for badge checker and camp counselor positions must be at least 15 years old, while lifeguard and maintenance positions require candidates to be 16 or older.

In preparation for the upcoming school year, the Township is also seeking part-time preschool teachers. Responsibilities for this role encompass leading activities, story reading, and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Ideal candidates should possess patience, self-direction, and excellent communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with young children. Previous experience in childcare is preferred but not mandatory. This part-time role offers approximately 12 hours of work per week from August to June, with varying schedules between 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Compensation ranges from $15.13 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
