Randallstown Mother Hits $29K Racetrax Win in Search for Cracker Jacks

Dollar bills background. Pile of american money cash. One hundred usd dollars banknotes. Financial and economic crisis

RANDALLSTOWN, MD – A quest for Cracker Jacks® at a Hanover gas station turned into a jackpot for a Randallstown mom, who won $29,313.30 playing Racetrax at the Arundel Mills Exxon. Initially there to satisfy a snack craving, she left with a much larger prize than the one usually found inside a Cracker Jack box.

Upon discovering the gas station was out of Cracker Jacks, the woman, a known fan of Racetrax, decided to place a Superfecta Box bet on horses 8, 9, 10, and 12 for five races. After being informed that the snack was unavailable, she momentarily forgot about her Racetrax ticket and headed home, only to discover later, with her son’s help, that she had won a substantial prize in the fourth race.

The winnings come at an opportune time, as the mother of two plans to allocate some of the funds towards her children’s upcoming weddings, showcasing the serendipitous nature of her win.

Arundel Mills Exxon, the retailer that sold the winning ticket, will be awarded a $293.13 bonus by the Maryland Lottery, highlighting the positive ripple effects of such a fortunate event.
