Suspect Apprehended for Burglary at Rehoboth Beach Restaurant

REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Delaware State Police have taken into custody 37-year-old John Ottolini of Lewes, Delaware, in connection with a burglary at Agave Mexican Restaurant. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of February 14, prompted a detailed investigation leading to Ottolini’s arrest.

Authorities were alerted to the break-in on February 15, discovering that entry was made through an unlocked door. The perpetrator made off with cash, alcohol, and vehicle keys, subsequently stealing a Ford Transit van associated with the establishment. The van was located and recovered by troopers the following day.

Following thorough investigative work, detectives identified Ottolini as the suspect, securing a warrant for his arrest. He was apprehended on March 27 and faces several charges related to the burglary. After arraignment at Justice of the Peace Court 2, Ottolini was released on his own recognizance.
