15-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC—The D.C. Metro Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Layla McKnight, who went missing over the weekend. McKnight was last observed in the 1700 block of 27th St. Southeast on Saturday, March 30, at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Described as a Black female, McKnight stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs around 165 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing gray pants and a gray coat at the time of her disappearance.

The police are urging anyone with information on Layla McKnight’s whereabouts to contact the D.C. Metro Police Department at 202-727-9099. Alternatively, tips can be sent anonymously via text to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The community’s help is crucial in ensuring the safe return of Layla McKnight.
