ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA — The Albemarle County Police Department is currently investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Saturday morning. Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Mallside Forest Court at approximately 8:11 AM following reports of gunfire heard in the vicinity.
Despite conducting a thorough search of both the immediate and surrounding areas, law enforcement officials have not identified any victims or suspects in connection with the incident. To date, there have been no injuries or property damage reported. The police are treating this as an isolated event and are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the gunfire.
