Berks County Store Sells $100K Powerball Ticket

MIDDLETOWN, PA – As the Powerball jackpot soars to an estimated $1.09 billion, a lucky player in Berks County has won $100,000 in the April 1 drawing, thanks to a ticket purchased at South Mountain Beer Distributing in Wernersville.

The winning ticket matched four white balls and the red Powerball, doubling its value to $100,000 with the Power Play option. The winning numbers were 19-24-40-42-56, with Powerball 23.

With the Powerball jackpot continuing to climb, the next draw on Wednesday, April 3, promises an annuity value of $1.09 billion or $527.3 million in cash. South Mountain Beer Distributing is also celebrating, earning a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
