WASHINGTON, DC — Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a suspect in a recent robbery at a Southeast Washington business. The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Sixth District detectives have released details concerning the incident early in the morning on March 15.
The robbery occurred at approximately 6:14 a.m. in a business in the 2800 Block of Alabama Ave, Southeast. According to the police report, the suspect made their way into the establishment, leaped over the counter, seized money, and then escaped from the scene.
Surveillance footage near the crime has provided a glimpse of the suspect, aiding investigators in their search. The police have made the images and a video of the suspect available in hopes that members of the public can assist in identifying and apprehending the individual responsible.
