Baltimore Police Make Arrests and Seize Handgun and Drugs in Traffic Stop

BALTIMORE, MD – A routine vehicle stop by the Baltimore Police Department’s Northeast District officers has led to the arrest of two individuals on charges related to firearms and controlled substances. The incident occurred on Frankford Avenue at the 650 block on April 1, 2024, around 6:05 p.m.

An 18-year-old male driver, wanted on open warrants for Assault and Burglary, was apprehended during the stop. A subsequent search resulted in the recovery of a Polymer 9mm handgun and controlled dangerous substances (CDS). A 19-year-old female passenger was also arrested in connection with the discoveries.

Both suspects have been transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) where they are facing charges for possession of the handgun and CDS.
