Robbery in North York Borough Leads to Quick Vehicle Recovery

NORTH YORK, PA — A robbery investigation was launched by the Northern York County Regional Police Department after a 38-year-old woman was accosted outside her home late Monday evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 PM on April 2, in the 700 block of N. George St. in North York Borough. The victim, having just returned from work, was approached by three male suspects as she walked from her parked gray 2024 Lexus NX to her residence.

Despite an attempt to flee, the assailants, who were described as wearing hoods and masks, overpowered her, demanding her car keys. Threats were made against her life, though no weapon was seen.

The thieves made off with the victim’s vehicle, which was subsequently found abandoned in the 200 block of Pine St. in York City. The victim emerged from the encounter physically unharmed but unable to identify any of the attackers.
