Shot-Spotter Activation Reveals Fatal Shooting in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A fatal shooting on East Lafayette Avenue has led to an intensive homicide investigation by the Baltimore Police Department. On April 2, in the afternoon, law enforcement responded to a shot-spotter alert and discovered a male victim with multiple gunshot injuries.

Despite rapid transport to a nearby hospital, the victim, who suffered wounds to the upper body, was declared dead shortly after arrival. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed as the investigation continues.
