Juveniles Charged in Connection with Nutley Burglary and Motor Vehicle Theft

Nutley, NJ – Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo announced the arrest of two juveniles involved in a burglary and motor vehicle theft from an Alexander Ave. resident. The incident occurred in the early hours of March 6.

The exhaustive investigation led to the identification of two young suspects from Newark and E Orange. They reportedly entered the residence at 4:21 a.m. through a rear door, stealing keys to a Land Rover parked in the driveway. The vehicle was found in E Orange the following day.

Both juveniles face charges of conspiracy to commit burglary and motor vehicle theft. Director Petracco highlighted the frequency of juvenile involvement in such crimes and commended the investigative team’s dedication to solving these cases.
