DC Police Investigate Deadly Stabbing

WASHINGTON, DCA fatal stabbing incident in Northwest Washington is currently under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch.

The incident was reported on Friday, April 5, at 11:21 p.m., when Fourth District officers were called to an apartment on the 1300 block of Peabody Street, Northwest. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and EMS, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity is being withheld until the next of kin has been notified.
