Man Dangling from Alexandria Bridge Rescued by Police, Fire Department

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A man who harnessed himself to a bridge and became stuck while trying to retrieve personal property prompted the temporary closure of lanes on the I-395 N ramp from Seminary Rd. above N Van Dorn St. The incident was resolved without injuries.

Police and fire departments swiftly responded, managing to free the individual and subsequently reopened the affected lanes. The unusual incident caused temporary traffic disruptions but ended with no reported injuries.
