Suspect Arrested in DC Attempted Bank Robbery

WASHINGTON, DCA suspect has been apprehended in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Northwest Washington.

The incident unfolded on Friday, April 5, when a suspect demanded money from a bank teller through a note at a bank located on the 400 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest, at approximately 9:26 a.m. The individual fled the scene without securing any funds.

Following an investigation, 62-year-old Bruce Alan Smith of Northeast, DC, was arrested on Saturday, April 6. Smith faces charges of Attempted Bank Robbery.
