Two Teens Ambushed by Gang of Home Invaders in Laurel

LAUREL, DE – The Delaware State Police have launched an investigation into a home invasion that took place in Laurel.

The incident occurred on April 6, at around 12:32 a.m. Following reports of the invasion, troopers were dispatched to a residence on the 6900 block of Sharptown Road. Initial findings indicate that about five male suspects forcibly entered the residence, which two teenagers occupied at the time. The intruders conducted a thorough search of the premises and departed with property of undisclosed value.

Fortunately, the teenagers present during the incident were not harmed. The authorities have described the suspects as five masked and armed black males. Efforts to obtain surveillance footage or images are ongoing, with none available at present.
