Vandals Sought in Newark Bathroom Trashing

NEWARK, NJ — The Newark Public Safety Department is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying four high school students involved in an act of vandalism.

On March 28, 2024, at around 11:38 a.m., police were called to the Moge Tee restaurant on the 100 block of Market Street, following a report of criminal mischief. According to the establishment’s management, the suspects had entered the restaurant, ordered food, and subsequently used the restroom. Shortly after their departure, a quick inspection revealed the restroom sink detached and laying on the floor.

Director Fritz G. Fragé has urged anyone with information about the suspects’ identities to come forward to aid the ongoing investigation and hold the responsible parties accountable for their actions.
