Do You Know Her? Newark Police Seeking to Identify Woman in Double Shooting Incident

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Department of Public Safety is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Monica Pemberton, 55, who is wanted for questioning related to a shooting on Thursday, April 4. The incident, which occurred around 10:45 PM in the 800 block of South 16th Street, resulted in a man and a woman being shot and subsequently transported to University Hospital in stable condition. Director Fritz G. Fragé emphasizes the importance of finding Pemberton to aid in the ongoing investigation.
