Fatal Shooting in Baltimore Leads to First-Degree Murder Charge

BALTIMORE, MD – A significant development has occurred in the investigation of a homicide in Baltimore’s Central District, resulting in the arrest of 19-year-old Dejuan Cole of Pikesville, MD.

On April 8th, Dejuan Cole surrendered to authorities in connection with the April 1st homicide of 17-year-old Devron Tyner. The incident, which resulted in Tyner’s death from a gunshot wound, took place in the 200 block of East Pratt Street at approximately 8:28 PM.

Following his surrender, Cole was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with first-degree murder. The victim, found by officers responding to the scene, had been taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
