Beachwood Elementary School Students D.A.R.E. Program A Success

BEACHWOOD, NJ – School Resource Officer (SRO) Chad Anthony has successfully concluded a 10-week Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program at Beachwood Elementary School. This initiative, aimed at providing students with the skills needed for making safe and responsible life choices, covers a wide range of topics including drug and alcohol resistance, violence prevention, bullying, and internet safety.

The D.A.R.E. program, renowned for its science and evidence-based curriculum, equips students with essential decision-making skills. These tools are designed to guide them through high-risk situations they may encounter, promoting a lifestyle of health and safety.

The Beachwood Police Department expressed gratitude towards Principal Kim Muir and the entire staff at Beachwood Elementary School for the opportunity to engage with students and share impactful lessons.
