Teen Attacked and Robbed Inside Downtown Manhattan Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY — A 17-year-old male was the victim of a violent robbery within the West 4th Street subway station mezzanine on April 6 at 11:10 AM. Two assailants demanded money for entry, subsequently assaulting him and stealing his skateboard and necklace. They then escaped on foot.

The victim was hospitalized at Lenox Health Greenwich Village Hospital in stable condition.

The attacker is described as a male, around 5’8″ tall, with a dark complexion, curly hair, and a medium build. He wore a blue winter jacket, beige turtleneck, black pants, and blue sneakers. Authorities are seeking information from the public to apprehend the suspects.
