Arrest Made in Connection with Attack on New York City Subway Train

Following a violent incident on the New York City subway, an arrest has been made. The New York City Police Department announced the capture of Angelo Rivera, an 18-year-old male from Queens, NY.

Rivera faces charges of attempted murder and assault. This development comes after an assault occurred aboard a northbound E train early Sunday morning.

On the morning of the incident, a 34-year-old male was attacked by three individuals following a verbal dispute, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

Rivera is alleged to have stabbed the victim multiple times during the altercation. The suspects fled the scene, leaving the victim to be transported to NYC Health and Hospital/Bellevue in stable condition. Rivera was apprehended and charged in connection with the attack. The search continues for the two remaining suspects, described only as males.
