Brick Township Police Officers Teach Bike Safety to Local Scouts

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ — Officer John Daly and Officer Peter Bylsma of the Brick Township Police Department’s bike unit conducted a bike safety workshop last night for members of local Scout Pack 39. The event included a comprehensive lesson on safe biking practices and a guided tour of a police patrol vehicle.

The workshop is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to engage with the community and educate young residents on the importance of safety measures while biking. Both officers shared tips and demonstrated proper techniques to ensure the scouts are equipped with the knowledge to ride safely.
