BRONX, NY – Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on the Cross Bronx Expressway.

On Friday, August 25, 2023, around 10:56 PM, officers responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot on the Cross Bronx Expressway near Jerome Avenue, in the 46th Precinct. Upon arrival, they found a 40-year-old male with gunshot wounds near a vehicle collision in the southbound lane.
