Two Shot, Teen Dead In D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC—D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch is actively investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in Northwest, DC.

The shooting occurred on Wednesday night at around 9:14 PM at the intersection of 10th and Spring Road. Responding officers from the Fourth District heard gunshots and discovered an adult male with gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Shortly after, a second gunshot victim was reported at another hospital and was pronounced dead. The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Gee Chisley from Temple Hills, MD.

Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the shooting to contact the police at 202-727-9099. Tips can also be anonymously submitted via text message to the department’s text tip line at 50411.
