HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, in collaboration with the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, has announced the arrest of a 20-year-old Jersey City resident, Emerson Deline, on multiple firearms charges.

Deline is charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and two counts of Unlawful Disposition of a Firearm, following his arrest by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force. The arrest occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2024, on Grand Street in Jersey City.

The charges stem from two separate incidents where Deline allegedly sold a handgun to an undercover officer, first on January 4, 2024, and again on January 12, 2024. A Superior Court Judge granted the State’s Motion for Detention on Tuesday, April 9, ensuring that Deline will remain in custody pending trial.
