New Rochelle Police Arrest Man with Gun and Drugs in Early Morning Incident

NEW ROCHELLE, NY – An early morning call led to the arrest of a Queens man in New Rochelle after police were alerted to a man allegedly displaying a gun at a local gas station. On April 8th, 2024, around 4:19 AM, New Rochelle Police received an anonymous tip about a man at the Pit Stop gas station at 819 Main Street showing a gun. The suspect was reported to be driving a blue Corvette with Connecticut license plates.

Responding officers located the described Corvette parked and unoccupied outside the Drake Main Café at 1 Drake Avenue, close to the initial location. The driver, identified as 51-year-old Feras Khrisat from Queens, NY, was found nearby. Further investigation led to the discovery of illegal drugs and a loaded .45 caliber handgun inside the vehicle.

While no additional details were confirmed about the gun being displayed at the gas station, police are continuing their investigation and have appealed to the public for any further information regarding the incident.
