Teen Arrested in Baltimore with Handgun and Drugs

BALTIMORE, MD – Early Wednesday morning, a coordinated effort by Baltimore Police led to the arrest of a 17-year-old male in the Southwest District. The operation involved the Criminal Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC), Gun Violence Unit (GVU) detectives, and the BPD SWAT team.

The arrest occurred during a search warrant execution at the 3200 block of Westmont Avenue at approximately 4:50 AM. Authorities confiscated a Glock 43 and controlled dangerous substances (CDS). The suspect was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility (CBIF) and charged as an adult.
