Montville Resident Charged with Multiple Assault Offenses

MONTVILLE, NJ – Morris County authorities have charged Juan A. Fernandez, 61, of Towaco, with aggravated assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges were announced by Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Montville Township Police Chief Andrew Caggiano.

According to the announcement, the allegations involve multiple acts committed against a juvenile male from when the victim was six until he turned sixteen. The investigation, which began in March, is still ongoing. Authorities have stated that no additional information or the identity of the victim will be disclosed at this time.
