Fatal Shooting in the Bronx: Man Identified

BRONX, NY – Early Monday morning, police were called to the scene of a shooting at 1102 Longfellow Avenue in the 41st Precinct. Upon their arrival, officers found Jaquill Monroe, a 26-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Emergency services quickly transported Monroe to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation into the shooting continues.
