Handgun Seized, Two Men Arrested During Traffic Stop in Atlantic City

Atlantic City, NJ – During a motor vehicle stop, the Atlantic City Police Department arrested two men and recovered a loaded handgun. The incident occurred on Monday at 8:38 PM in the 1900 block of Atlantic Avenue.

Detective Aaron Jones initiated the stop and noticed items associated with the distribution of narcotics in the vehicle’s backseat. The driver, Isaiah Butler, 23, of Atlantic City, and passenger, James Gallaway, 22, of Millville, NJ, were both arrested. Charges against the men include unlawful possession of a weapon and other offenses related to narcotics distribution. They were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. The public is reminded that these charges are accusations and the individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
