Teen Arrested for Weapons Violation After Gunshot in Glen Burnie Apartment

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged following a weapons violation incident in an apartment complex on Lori Drive in Glen Burnie. On April 14, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m., police were called to the 300 block after a homeowner discovered a bullet hole in the ceiling of their apartment.

An investigation led officers to another apartment in the building from which the gunshot was determined to have originated. Executing a search warrant, police found a loaded 9mm handgun and ammunition in the bedroom of the 16-year-old suspect. The teenager has been taken into custody and is facing charges related to the incident.
