Investigation Underway in Fatal Shooting in Gloucester Township

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Gloucester Township Police Department are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening. Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Police Chief David Harkins confirmed the ongoing investigation.

The incident took place on April 16, at around 5:27 PM, at a residence within the La Cascata development. Police officers responded to a call about a shooting and found 24-year-old Nasir Tart, a resident of Gloucester Township, with a gunshot wound. Tart was pronounced dead at the scene by 5:50 PM.

Authorities have declared the investigation active and ongoing, seeking to uncover further details surrounding the event.
