Phone Snatching Incident on Southbound “6” Train

NEW YORK, NY – A 51-year-old male was the victim of a robbery aboard a southbound “6” train near the Buhre Avenue subway station on Tuesday morning. At around 11:45 AM, two unknown individuals approached the victim; one snatched his phone and the other pushed him, causing him to fall onto a train seat.

The assailants then fled the station and were last seen running northbound on Buhre Avenue. The victim reported no injuries. The first assailant, described as a male with a slim build and medium complexion, was wearing a black jacket, hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers. The second, similarly described, wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black and white sneakers, and black sweatpants.
