Handgun and Drugs Seizure Leads to Arrest in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — An Eastern District officer’s attempt to stop a vehicle with mismatched tags led to a foot chase and subsequent arrest on April 17, 2024. The incident occurred in the 3200 block of Cliftmont Avenue.

The driver of the vehicle, upon realizing the police attempt to pull him over, abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. The officer quickly apprehended the suspect following a brief pursuit. The individual, identified as a repeat offender, was found in possession of a handgun and controlled substances.

Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with relevant offenses.
