Police Seek Robbery Suspect in Magnolia

Magnolia, DE—Delaware State Police are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a robbery incident that transpired yesterday morning in Magnolia. According to reports, the incident occurred at a residence on Gray’s Lane, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.

On April 19, 2024, at around 9:05 a.m., troopers were dispatched to investigate the robbery. Initial findings suggest that a male intruder entered a woman’s home, engaged in a verbal altercation, and forcefully took her belongings. The victim’s attempt to call for help was thwarted when the suspect allegedly seized her phone and discarded it.

The suspect, identified as 35-year-old George Brinkley, is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing around 240 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Brinkley was last seen wearing a white North Face hooded sweatshirt and blue pants.

Delaware State Police Troop 3 is leading the search efforts for Brinkley. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Troop 3 at 302-697-4454 or dial 911.
