Woman Grabbed and Groped on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault on a northbound “4” train at the 86th Street subway station on Friday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 8:35 PM when a 45-year-old female was approached and assaulted by an unknown male who sat next to her and inappropriately grabbed her.

The victim left the train, while the assailant remained onboard as the train departed the station. The victim did not sustain physical injuries. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, aged between 37 and 43 years, about 5 feet tall, and weighing around 150 lbs. He was last observed wearing a black coat and blue jeans.
