Police Arrest Man After Firearm Assault on Two Women in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A 21-year-old man from Southeast D.C., identified as Alonte Miller, was arrested for assaulting two women with a firearm during an argument. This incident occurred on Saturday night in the 3000 block of Stanton Road, Southeast.

On April 20, around 11:26 PM, Seventh District officers responded to a report of a gunshot. Although no one was shot, police found evidence of gunfire and discovered two women who reported being hit by an object resembling a firearm. Following a brief investigation, the officers apprehended Miller and charged him with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

Investigations reveal that the suspect and the victims were acquaintances prior to the assault.
