A Salisbury retiree, who enjoys playing various lottery games, recently claimed the progressive jackpot prize of $25,765 from the 7-11-21 game. The fortunate winner received a free $2 FAST PLAY 7-11-21 ticket as part of the ongoing Spring Fling promotion from the Maryland Lottery. The retired father of five and grandfather to twelve initially thought he had won $1,000 until realizing his significant prize amount.

He promptly shared the news with his daughter, another lottery enthusiast, and together they traveled to Lottery headquarters in Baltimore to collect the winnings.

The winner, now dubbed “Salisbury Winner,” intends to deposit the prize money into his bank account. The winning ticket, purchased at Royal Farms on South Division Street in Salisbury, earned the retailer a bonus of $257.65 from the Lottery. The 7-11-21 game, which began on April 1, features a progressive jackpot that commences at $1,500 and expands with each ticket sale until a jackpot-winning ticket is obtained. As of now, there are 10 progressive jackpot prizes yet to be won.
