Two New York City Cops Arrested for Groping and Assaulting Woman at Bronx Bar

NEW YORK, NY – Two off-duty New York City police officers were arrested on Tuesday at 9:25 AM within the 44th Precinct. The officers, identified as Julio Alcantara-Santiago, 40, and Christian Garcia, 32, face serious allegations, including criminal sexual acts in the first degree, sexual abuse in the first and third degrees, sexual misconduct, and forcible touching.

According to ABC News, prosecutors say the pair assaulted a woman after meeting her in a bar in the Bronx and both officers are suspended without pay.

As Yogi Berra would say, it was Deja Vu all over again for one of the police officers.

In 2022, Santiago allegedly touched a 52-year-old woman’s breast inside Yankee Stadium’s Hard Rock Cafe after attending a game at the stadium, He was cleared of that charge in September of 2022.
