Women Report Shots Fired in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE- Two women from Hanover Township reported an incident involving firearms to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department early on Tuesday.

Authorities were called to the scene at 182 Brook Street following a call from the victims claiming that an unidentified male had shot towards them.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the two women who revealed that the suspect had fired a single shot before making a hasty escape.

Thankfully, neither of the victims sustained any injuries during the encounter and confessed they were unable to furnish a detailed description of the perpetrator. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
