Search Warrant Uncovers Guns and Drugs in Milton

Milton, DE – Delaware State Police arrested Randolph Gooner and Carey Rust of Milton, Delaware, after a search warrant in Milton uncovered felony gun and drug offenses earlier this month. At 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on the 22800 block of Reynolds Pond Road in Milton. Gooner, suspected of drug distribution, was found in a parked Chevrolet Silverado in the driveway.

During the home search, authorities discovered a significant amount of firearms, drugs, and drug-related paraphernalia. Items found included various types of weapons, cocaine, methamphetamine, and a variety of prescription pills. In a subsequent vehicle search, troopers found more weapons and amphetamines.

Gooner has been charged with multiple felonies, including drug possession and firearm-related offenses. He was arrested, arraigned, and held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a significant cash bond. On Sunday, Carey Rust surrendered herself at Troop 4 and was charged with felony conspiracy and drug possession. She was arraigned and released on an unsecured bond.
