Secaucus Store Sells $1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket

TRENTON, NJ – A New Jersey Lottery ticket sold in Hudson County clinched the $1,000,000 second-tier prize in the recent Powerball drawing. The winning ticket, sold at Mirali Corporation located at 1299 Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus, matched five of the white balls in the Saturday drawing. Additionally, a $50,000 third-tier prize was won by a ticket purchased at Empire Liquors in Trenton. This ticket matched four of the white balls and the Powerball.

The winning numbers from Saturday were 09, 30, 53, 55, and 62, with the Red Power Ball number at 23 and a Power Play of 3X. In total, 26,047 state players won prizes totaling $156,255, with individual winnings ranging from $4 to $300. The Powerball jackpot has now escalated to $164 million for Monday’s drawing.

Alongside the main Powerball draw, the Double Play drawing also took place, offering another chance for players who opted for the feature. The Double Play numbers were 12, 28, 36, 47, and 65, with the Double Play Ball number at 22.
