Stabbing and Robbery in Brooklyn Park Sends Man to Hospital

BROOKLYN PARK, MD – Authorities are currently investigating a stabbing and robbery incident that took place in the vicinity of Brookwood Road and Southerly Drive.

According to reports from the Northern District Detective Unit, the incident occurred on April 28th, 2024, around 9:30 p.m. The victim, a 44-year-old male, was walking in an alley in the aforementioned area when he was approached by a male suspect who demanded his wallet. Compliance ensued, but the suspect proceeded to stab the victim with an unidentified sharp object before fleeing the scene.

The victim, sustaining a non-life-threatening injury to his torso, sought medical attention at Harbor Hospital. Unfortunately, he was unable to provide a description of the suspect.
