Arrests Made Following Violent Home Invasion in Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, PA – On Friday, two suspects were arrested after a violent incident that occurred on Harkins Lane. Dionte TAYLOR, 29, and Kiara WYNN, 22, were taken into custody after unlawfully entering a resident’s home. The victim reported threats made by the suspects before they fled the scene. Upon investigation, evidence of a gunshot was found.

The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department responded to the burglary report. Residents were threatened by TAYLOR and WYNN before they escaped from the scene, resulting in a pursuit by officers leading to the suspects’ arrest. Dionte TAYLOR was apprehended without resistance, while Kiara WYNN resisted arrest but was eventually captured. Both individuals were transported to City Headquarters for further processing and were detained for arraignment.
