Hyattsville, MD – A Prince George’s County man recently claimed a $50,000 Pick 5 prize after discovering his winning number from the drawing on Feb. 5. The man, who has been playing the number 20783 for over a year, expressed being “stunned and overwhelmed” upon realizing he held the matching ticket.

The retired federal worker, sharing his plans, indicated that he intends to use the prize money to pay off bills and donate the remaining amount to charity. Known for his active lifestyle, the winner mentioned that dancing, including ballroom, line, and hand dancing, is one of the activities he engages in to stay healthy and young.

The Lewisdale Market in Hyattsville, where the ticket was purchased, is set to receive a $500 bonus for selling the lucky ticket.
