Teenager Wounded in D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC — A teenage boy was hospitalized after being shot Friday afternoon in Southeast Washington, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department. The incident occurred shortly after 3:30 PM in the 1500 block of Alabama Avenue.

Responding officers found the teenager with gunshot wounds; he was conscious and subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police are now searching for a suspect described as a man dressed in all-black attire, wearing a gray camo ski mask and red shoes. He was last seen heading westbound toward 15th and Savannah Street.
