79-Year-Old Man Violently Attaacked Inside Apartment Lobbby

NEW YORK, NY – A 79-year-old man was assaulted in the lobby of his apartment building on Saturday, leading to minor injuries. The incident took place around 6:06 PM near East 23 Street and Third Avenue.

Following a verbal dispute, an unidentified man struck the elderly victim in the face, then fled westbound on East 23 Street. The victim was transported to NYU Langone Medical Center in stable condition.

The assailant, described as a male with a dark complexion, was last seen wearing a fur hooded jacket, blue sweatpants, and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
