Child, Woman Injured in Hit and Run Crash in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY — A 33-year-old woman and an 8-year-old girl were injured in a hit-and-run accident on East 16 Street, Brooklyn. The incident occurred when a black sedan, traveling southbound, reversed and struck them as they crossed the street. The driver subsequently fled southbound toward Quentin Road. The young girl sustained a fractured left arm, while the woman suffered back and knee pain. Both were transported by EMS to Maimonides Hospital in stable condition.
