NYC Teen Beaten and Robbed by Group Over a Pair of Crocs

BRONX, NY — A 14-year-old male was assaulted and robbed on the evening of Wednesday, April 24, near Grand Concourse and East 149 Street. At approximately 9:40 PM, the victim was approached by a group of individuals who initiated a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation.

The assailants punched and kicked the teenager and forcibly removed his crocs before fleeing the scene on foot. Despite the severity of the attack, the victim declined medical attention. The incident is currently under investigation, and authorities are seeking the individuals involved.
